Hi Trademarkroom, I have a two drinks brands with which I would like some guidance on!
My first brand is a non alcoholic drink, the second is a beer brand. Do you have any examples I can perhaps review?

Sure. More than happy to assist. Taking the first one, the non alcoholic. You need to consider the following:-
If you have carried out the searches and checks as we have previously advised, see Everything you wanted to know about finding and locating a brand but were afraid to ask ! (trademarkroom.com) So I am presuming that you have now identified a brand.
Decide on the type of Trade Mark
Word only
For example BUXTON WATER
Word Logo
and finally logo only ie no words. So I understand you wish to file a word logo as per the above example.
You then need to identify a class.
What is a class?
The classification system is a system set up in 1957 which established the International Classification of goods/products ie commodities and Services, The system is revised every five years, and the most recent edition, 11th[2], divides products into 45 classes (goods and services are included in classes 1-34 and 35-45, respectively). So anyone wishing to trade mark goods or services can select the right class and apply it to your trade mark. In this instance as you are filing a non alcoholic brand you need to file it in Class 30. That is Beers; non-alcoholic beverages; mineral and aerated waters , fruit beverages and fruit juices; syrups and other preparations for making non-alcoholic beverages.
In respect of your second brand. A beer product. Again consider a search and ensure its a viable option. Then decide on the type of trade mark, so a word only, a word logo or a logo only.
Beer is Class 30 too but please remember that if you are intending to sell other alcoholic drinks other than Beer then you need to locate a new class and that would be class 32
