Michael is off on his holiday and has found a hub for trade mark spotting …. the airport!

When travelling abroad, a visit to an airport is very likely. An airport can be an exciting place, with the possibilities of adventures. It is also a hive of trade marks.
Depending on the airport you visit, will depend on the number of airlines present, all with their own branding and trade marks on display.
Taking British Airways as an example, they have over 200 trade marks registered in the UK. Some of these trade marks have been registered for decades. They have both word marks registered as well as their logo in a wide range of classes.
The classic BA logo is registered in a whopping 10 classes – with goods and services ranging from stationary to clothing to air travel services.

Next time you take a trip away – play spot the trade mark! You will be surprised by how many you see!
