Welcome to the gang! Jamaica joins Madrid Protocol

Bringing some Caribbean flavour, the Madrid System has a new member.

Run through the World Intellectual Property Organisation, the Madrid Protocol system is a one stop shop allowing a trade mark owner to file the same trade mark application in a number of countries in one go rather than the need to file individual applications.

As the system is growing, it has become a recommended option for those trade mark owners who want to expand their portfolio.

The latest member to join is Jamaica. Jamacia will become a member in March 2022.

Jamaica is the 110th member and there are hopes that the system will continue to grow.

If you would like to explore your options or discuss how the Madrid system can help you grow, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
