The UK Intellectual Property Office, the Government body in the UK that manages intellectual property, has confirmed that a 25% fee increase for all trade mark, design and patent fees is on its way.
It has been some time since trade mark official fees were increased, but the 25% jump will be felt by businesses who are seeking to protect their brand. This increase is due to come into force in April 2026, and it at present still subject to parliamentary approval.

As a snapshot, a UK trade mark application in one class will now cost £205.00 in official filing fees, with the additional class fee rising to £60.00 per class.
The fee to renew your trade mark will start at £245.00 and will increase by £60.00 for each additional class your application is registered in.
